Hobonichi Techo 2027 Weeks, English Edition: A Buyer's File
The Weeks is not one listing on Amazon US. On 26 September 2026 Hobonichi's own Amazon storefront returned 46 results for "weeks", and 34 of them were 2027 English-edition Weeks or Weeks MEGA books, one listing per cover design. A 35th page, one more Colors shade, turned up in Amazon's general search but not in the storefront, because it had no offer on it at all. So the question this page answers is not "should I buy the Weeks" but "how do I read one of these pages before I buy from it, and what if the color I want is not on any of them".
It covers one book in its English edition: the Hobonichi Techo 2027 Weeks, January start, in all its 2027 cover designs, together with the Weeks MEGA, the same book with more memo pages. In the planner guide's terms it is a monthly-plus-weekly-left book (Hobonichi's own name for the layout is "weekly horizontal"), in a wallet format of 188 × 94 mm that sits outside the guide's A6, B6 and A5 sizes. Whether a weekly page belongs in your planner at all is the planner guide's question, not this page's. The Original, one page per day, has its own file.
Before the rest: I work for a Japanese planner maker, which competes with the makers named on this page; none of them is a customer or a supplier of mine, I have no business with any of them, and I do not use my employer or its products as a source or an example. I have not handled this book. What follows comes from Hobonichi's English and Japanese pages, its Amazon US storefront, and the Amazon listings themselves, read with two US ZIP codes, and each fact is marked as what it is.
Read this first. All of it was read on 26 September 2026, Japan time, and stock moves daily in this season:
- On the ten listings with an offer that I opened, the "Sold by" line read "Hobonichi Co., Ltd. [Official]", with Amazon shipping. Read at ZIP 10001 and 90012. That is ten of the 34, not all of them, and the all-offers panel I opened on two.
- Listings that looked alike did not carry the same delivery line. Same seller, same series, different dates under the price. That line is the one to read before you add to cart.
- Amazon and Hobonichi's own store did not agree on which colors could be bought. One Colors shade had a page on Amazon with nothing to buy on it while Hobonichi's store listed it; another shade was the reverse. Which colors, changes; the habit of checking both does not.
- Amazon's prices and stock are not copied here. Amazon's terms for sites like this allow them only when Amazon serves them, so they stay on the listing. Hobonichi's own store listed the Colors at $27.00 to $28.00 before shipping and duty; I did not go through its checkout, and this is the one place on this page that says so: which route is cheaper delivered, I cannot tell you.

How to read a Weeks listing, whatever the date
Everything dated on this page will go stale; the planner season runs from September to December and stock moves weekly. What does not go stale is where to look on the page. The check itself, ASIN plus the "Sold by" line plus the seller ID behind it, belongs to the Original's file and is not repeated here; this page adds what is particular to a book sold in 35 cover variants:
- The ASIN and the seller line, as the Original's file describes. On the day, every Weeks listing I opened read "Hobonichi Co., Ltd. [Official]"; a reseller can still hold a separate page for the same book, which is what the ASIN check is for.
- The delivery date under the price. On the day, the seller was the same across the listings I opened and the delivery line was not; I do not know Amazon's logistics and will not guess at what a gap means, but the date is what you will be held to.
- The all-offers panel. If the page shows nothing to buy, that panel is empty, and the next place to look is Hobonichi's own store, which on the day listed a color Amazon did not.

Two stores, one book, opposite stock
This is the part that changes where you order from. On 26 September 2026 I read the Colors series, Hobonichi's plain textile covers, on both sites the same morning: the Amazon listings under two ZIP codes, and Hobonichi's English lineup page filtered to Weeks in English, plus the product pages for two of the colors. What Amazon showed for price and stock stays on Amazon; what Hobonichi's own store showed is below.

I have left the shade names out of the Amazon column on purpose: which color has an offer on Amazon changes week to week in this season, and a name here would be a stock claim. The store's $27.00 to $28.00 is shown as a range because the lineup lists one entry for both editions of each color; which edition takes which end, I did not resolve.
What that table is for:
If your color has an Amazon page with nothing to buy on it, look at Hobonichi's store before giving up. Shade A's page on Amazon had an empty all-offers panel. The same color on Hobonichi's English store, with the shipping country set to the United States, showed a price and a quantity limit, and its Japanese product page said the same (通常販売, regular sale). Hobonichi's store price is a shelf price; its shipping, duty handling and return terms are the same for every book it sells and are set out in the Original's file, with the import side in the guide to buying from Japan.
If Hobonichi's store says the English edition's restock is undecided, Amazon may still have Hobonichi's own listing. Shade B's store page carried the restock notice; its Amazon page carried Hobonichi's own offer. I do not know why the two channels differ, and Hobonichi does not say. Treat the delivery date on the listing as the only date you have.
The pattern went beyond the Colors series. On the same lineup page, Hobonichi marked other English Weeks designs as out of stock or with restock undecided, among them the Liberty Fabrics "Floral Remedy", the Bow & Tie "Sheep Sheep Sheep", the V&A "Welcome to the V&A", the Shirt Fabric "Graph Plaid", the Smooth "Lavender Milk" and the Akiko Miyakoshi cover. Each of those had a listing in Hobonichi's Amazon storefront that day; I did not open their product pages, so I have not read their "Sold by" lines, and what each promised for delivery is on the listing.
The delivery line on Amazon
Same seller, same series, different promise. Among the ten listings I opened on 26 September 2026 the delivery line under the price was not the same from one to the next, and the split did not follow series. Amazon does not explain the difference on the page, and I am not going to guess at its logistics. What the reader can use is simpler: the promise is visible on the listing before you add to cart. If you need the book before the year turns, that line is the fact to read alongside the seller line.

The storefront also listed two Japanese-edition Weeks, three 2026 books, and seven accessories, none of which are assessed here. For the Canaria Yellow listing, the one linked on this page, the all-offers panel at ZIP 90012 showed a single offer, Hobonichi's. Whether that is still so, and at what price, is on the listing; this page does not copy Amazon's figures.
The book itself, in the maker's figures
Hobonichi's Japanese product page for the Midnight Blue Weeks and its English counterpart, both read 26 September 2026, agree on the numbers below. Where their wording differs, both versions are given.

Before you choose the edition, note two features. Hobonichi's English type guide for the Weeks lists the weekly page's features under an English tab and a Japanese tab. Both tabs list the two-dot timeline, ISO 8601 week numbers, the moon phase, the memo page's "secret line" and the weekly quote. Only the Japanese tab lists Rokuyō, Japanese holidays and the 24 solar terms. I read that as those items belonging to the Japanese edition; the guide does not say in so many words that the English edition omits them, so it is an inference from the guide's layout, not a printed promise.
The MEGA. Hobonichi's type guide says the Weeks MEGA "contains about three times the amount of memo pages as the regular Weeks", and, for the Japanese MEGA, puts the number at about 210 memo pages. The English MEGA exists in a January-start edition only, and Hobonichi's Amazon storefront listed it in the Colors series and others, as the table above shows; its prices are on the listings.
The paper is Tomoe River with thread-stitched binding, and Hobonichi's product page for the Weeks carries its own "Please Read Before You Buy" note on pens and ink, as its other books' pages do. I have not written in one.
Reasons to choose something else
- Your color is missing from both stores. Hobonichi's restock notices say "we will post details on this page when available", and I have no better date than that.
- You want a page per day. That is the Original, whose file is linked above, or the Cousin.
- A Sunday-start week. The product page that covers both editions gives Monday as the start of the week. I found no Sunday-start Weeks on that page or in the lineup filter I used; if one exists elsewhere in the catalogue, I did not see it.
- Holidays printed on the page. The type guide lists them under the Japanese tab only, and, as said above, that is the guide's silence about the English edition rather than a printed statement.
Not assessed on this page, among others: the Japanese-language Weeks, the 2026 books still listed, the covers and accessories, Hobonichi's other formats, and any other maker's weekly planner. They are listed so you know they were left out, not because they were weighed and found wanting.
